First off a little background on me, I'm 30 years old, a single mom who became engaged on Nov. 8 08. I have a A.S. C.I.S.; plus a background in Small Business Management. I have been sewing since I was 12 and have always enjoyed design work. I have very strong moral belief that honesty is always the best policy and run my business accordingly. Creating beautiful items is my passion and I love it.
I am a bride to be and in the process of planning my own wedding is where they desire to offer custom bridal apparel came from. I have my own unique sense of style and taste and could not find a dress that was truly me that and I have some unique measurement issues.
As a person and a wedding dress designer I am dedicated to doing my best, being honest, and being a friend to my customers. I will not ever charge standard retail markups I feel that the greed in our society is the true reason our economy is tanking. I would offer my services free if I could just for the love of doing it. I love beautiful things and events. Weddings are truly the only time in ones life that they get to be the Belle of The Ball. I think it is obscene that retailers mark sites and fees up just because its a wedding. And I love talking weddings so feel free to email me just to chat as well. :)
The Wild Tangent-
About Me
Me & My Fiancé Van
My own wedding was schedule for June 27 but a conflict with the date arose and we are still deciding on our alternative date maybe august or October. My fiancé Van is a wonderful very traditional man. I am a very non traditional woman. Our engagement was not done in traditional style nor was our relationship. In fact though we have known each other for almost me off from dating period. In October Van became severely ill and it was that little even that made me realize no matter our differences I was being stupid keeping us apart when he was and is the love I have always dreamed of. I kept this epiphany to myself for the most part except for a few select friends. On November 8, 2008 me and Van were talking and telling each other how much we loved each other sappy but true. I said "Hold that thought" went over and grabbed my monstrous purse and sat back down next to him. "Now I am gonna do something weird" (not incredibly romantic I know but I was so nervous!) I pulled out a diamond and gold wedding ring and said simply "Will you marry me?" He took the ring box with shaky hands stared at me with his gorgeous blue eyes and whispered "Do you mean it?" My own wedding was schedule for June 27 but a conflict with the date arose and we are still I said "yes" after a few agonizing seconds that felt like hours I asked "so?" and he said "Yes" deciding on our alternative date maybe august or October. My fiancé Van is a wonderful very By far probably one of the stranger engagement stories I know but it fits us. In December he traditional man. I am a very non traditional woman. Our engagement was not done in gave me the perfect pink sapphire and diamond engagement ring it has past present and future inscribed on the inside band. In December I gave him his now permanent ring of future inscribed on the inside band. In December I gave him his now permanent ring of titanium (thats what he wanted) that matches mine inscribed Forever Ambers Van and mine titanium (thats what he wanted) that matches mine inscribed Forever Ambers Van and mine is inscribed Forever Vans Amber in our hearts we are already married. He has not taken my ring off since i placed it on his finger even the first ring which was a half size to big and very loose he never took off. In my entire life I have never known love like this.
Me The Bride To Be
Some of my favorite money saving sites and my favorite stores. These are all sites I shop at frequently.
I use Ebates any time I can because nothing is better then earning cash back on the items I was going to buy anyway. Best of all membership is free. http://www.ebates.com
I must admit I am a long time Ebayer. I started using Ebay back when they first started and never looked back. I also love Pay Pal which offers protection when you buy something online. (I earn cash back as an ebates member to)
My favorite music store has to be Itunes. I use it all the time. No more buying a Cd just because I like one song on Itunes I am guaranteed to only get the songs I want to listen to and none of the ones I do not.
I love Oriental Trading Company which you have probably noticed from some of my other pages. I have been doing business with OTC for the last 5 year and have used them to supply many a theme party and family event. (I earn cash back as an ebates member to)
A new favorite is Staples. I had never been in a staples before moving to Eureka but am a huge fan now with their free rewards membership I can exchange all my empty ink cartridges for store coupons. Plus i can order online and pick it up at the store here to avoid shipping charges. (I earn cash back as an ebates member to)
