The Wild Tangent is dedicated to offering the best prices and customer service on all our orders that will
make your bridal dreams come true! From remaking a designer dress at a better price, or designing a whole
new gown from your idea, I am completely dedicated to offering you the best price and service around.
You can trust The Wild Tangent to offer the best price for quality materials. You will never pay a cent more
can pass my savings on to you. I do not charge for the time I spend finding the best deals, nor for any of the
consultation time and time spent designing.
Flat Rate Shipping For Jewelry and Veil/Headpiece Orders Only:
$5 inside the US & Canada
$15 For International Orders.
I only Ship through the USPS with delivery confirmation included.
Shipping On Custom Orders:
Shipping costs will vary depending on weight of item/s I will not charge anything more than actual shipping
costs. I do not charge a handling fee.
Pricing for Custom Orders:
Pricing for custom orders is based on a simple formula.
Material Costs- Required up front Labor Cost Rate-
I charge a standard of $15.00 an hour on all custom work unless it is a short time frame (less then 6 weeks)
then the rate is $20.00 an hour. This only applies to complete custom work not alterations. I will supply you
with an estimate on time for your custom order up front then will we come up with a payment plan that works
for you. I always give the highest maximum cost when I provide estimates usually they are under the
estimated amount. I do not charge for alterations on custom work.
Multiple Item Discounts On Custom Orders:
The more you buy the more you save. Here is how multiple item discounts work. If you order 2 items the
discount is 10% four items is 20% up to 40% off so a complete bridal suite(dress, tiara and veil, or hair
accessory, and bridal jewelry) would be discounted by 40% off your total order.
Pricing for Alterations:
Alterations are $15.00 an hour.
The Wild Tangent may seam to be a strange name for a bridal store but it
expresses the overall feel of this site. To incorporate as much as I desire to cover
and to offer free advertising to other single moms who are creatively talented in
any way associated with weddings. I feel that retailers are wrong in overpricing
items just because they are for a Wedding. I know that is capitalism but to charge
200 times the cost is greedy. Costs for weddings are already at a all time high
while incomes are at an all time low. There is no reason why a wedding has to
cost as much as a new car. In the course of my wedding research I have found a
couple of things to be true 1. Bridal magazines are not worth the paper they are
printed on they are one giant advertisement with very little real content.
2. New wedding traditions have been made in order to convince brides to spend
more.
3. There is quite a few pointless money wasting items and activities in every major
planning guide because they are made up by advertisers.
